INTERNATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES AND RELATIONSHIPS

Davidson High School has formed significant relationships with many countries and international organisations that allow us to provide a range of unique opportunities for our students.

These include:

• Hosting annual international school visits.
   

• Participating in dance tours to Japan.
   

• Attending the Morioka Chuo International Student Conference.
   

• Performing at World Expo.
   

• Providing an annual scholarship for a gifted Davidson student for travel to Japan.
   

• Overseas school trips for students studying languages.

MAEBASHI SEISHONEN CULTURAL VISIT

During August, fifty Japanese students attend Davidson High School. The students, aged between 13 and 17, are selected from sixteen schools in Maebashi and are home stayed with Davidson families.

This event provides a great opportunity for both the Maebashi and Davidson students to gain cross cultural understanding, practise their language skills and to become friends with a person from another country.

The Maebashi visit is an excellent opportunity to experience first hand, Japanese culture and language. All families who have played host in the past can guarantee that it is a fun and enriching experience.
